There’s a brand that makes even adults look forward to Christmas.

When the cold wind starts to blow, Starbucks’ Christmas e-Frequency begins.
The chance that comes only after collecting 17 drinks like waiting for a Christmas gift
created a new kind of joy, even for adults.

 

This year, at more than 1,400 Starbucks stores nationwide,
a planner and a foldable crossbody bag were introduced as e-Frequency rewards.
Only those who are curious need to know, but…

This bag was created together by Starbucks and RAWROW.

 

Starbucks’ Christmas season message is Carry the Merry.
As makers of tripwear who always start by thinking about movement and storage, we were drawn to the word “Carry.”

We thought the item RAWROW would make should be something to carry a planner.
Something that could also hold other small essentials, and be easy to carry every day.

We figured that today’s version of a planner might be something like an iPad,
so we sized it to fit.

It can be used folded or unfolded, and with a strap added for easy carrying,
it takes on the versatility and form of a bag that can be used in multiple ways.

 

We create things that didn’t exist before, which means we also have to think about what gets thrown away.
Lately, we’ve been paying close attention to efforts to reduce waste.
Single-use plastic PET bottles, in particular, have become a serious problem.

RAWROW, confident in making bags, and Starbucks, who knows coffee and customers better than anyone together, with a shared concern for the environment and sustainability, we chose recycled yarn made from PET bottles (RPET) as the material.

In making the foldable crossbody bag,
we took on the challenge of 2.3 million discarded PET bottles.
